Job Description

Job Purpose:
Provides financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, and reporting cost data.
*Manufacturing accounting a MUST*
Duties:
*Perform day-to-day book-keeping activities
*Prepares monthly financial statements & consolidations
*Bank account reconciliations
*General ledger account analysis & subsidiary ledger reconciliation
*Accounts payable
*Accounts receivable
*Prepares & approves journal entries & inter-company transactions
*Monthly accruals & deferrals
*Manages cash balances & investments
*Responsible for filing, excise taxes, property tax statements, etc.
*Maintains fixed assets
*Establish production & inventory goals & direct production scheduling
*Oversee the financial budgeting process including review of monthly expenses to budget forecasting
*Generate & analyze reports
*Must have knowledge of cost center accounting
*Must have experience in BOM's (Bill of Materials) & margins
*Experienced in capital analysis technique
*Must have knowledge MS Office-Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Pivots, Vlookup, statistical & financial functions) & Quick Books

Education:
*Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting
